the PLEIADES Team hosts the 52nd VI-HPS Tuning Workshop in Wuppertal. Th
e workshop is aimed at HPC users and developers who want to improve their
understanding and knowledge of performance measurement tools in an HPC env
ironment.\nTo quote from the VI-HPS webpage:\nVI-HPS Tuning Workshops are
the major training vehicle where around 30 participants receive instructio
n and guidance applying VI-HPS tools to their own parallel application cod
es\, along with advice for potential corrections and optimizations. Feedba
ck to tools developers also helps direct tools development to user needs\,
as well as improve tool documentation and ease of use. These workshops of
three to five days at HPC centres occur at least twice per year\, and are
complemented by additional courses and tutorials at conferences\, seasona
l schools and other invited training events. Training events of individual
VI-HPS partners can be found on their own websites.\nCoordinated tools tr
aining material is available with emphasis on hands-on exercises using VI-
HPS tools individually and interoperably. Exercises with example MPI+OpenM
P or MPI+OpenACC/CUDA/HIP parallel applications can be configured to run o
n dedicated HPC compute resources.\nThe exact range of tools is still unde
r discussion\, but will likely involve tools like Score-P\, Scalasca\, Vam
 pir\, Linaro Forge\, and many more.\nThe exact course agenda\, timeline a
nd list of instructors will be publish at a later time.\nWe have up to 30
seats available. You may already register in advance\, but please read the

bring your personal laptop and corresponding power cables\nYou should have
access to an HPC system\, installed with the performance tools discussed
during the event\nThis course is free of cost for members of German unive
