By plane
From Düsseldorf airport (recommended)
Düsseldorf airport (DUS) is the closest major international airport, and thereby usually the most convenient for travelling to Wuppertal. Be aware that the airport has two railway stations: Düsseldorf Flughafen and Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal. Most trains use the former. The journey takes approximately 40-60 minutes.
From Cologne/Bonn airport
Cologne/Bonn airport (CGN) has a railway station directly beneath the terminal. Most connections will require one change in Cologne. The journey takes approximately 60 minutes.
From Frankfurt airport
Frankfurt airport (FRA) may be the most suitable choice for intercontinental flights. There are long distance trains from the airport's railway station, Frankfurt am Main Flughafen Fernbahnhof. There are direct connections to Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof, which take approximately 90 minutes.
By car (A46, Wuppertal Elberfeld)
The workshop takes place at the main campus of the University of Wuppertal, Grifflenberg (not to be confused with Freudenberg). For navigation systems, you can use the following address:

The closest university parking garages to the workshop venue are PB+PC. Additional parking spaces can be found in parking garage PA and along Gaußstraße and Max-Horkheimer-Straße, although availability is not guaranteed.
The aforementioned parking garages are generally available free of charge from Monday-Friday, 07:00-22:30.
