The indico page is meant to track registration.

The Introduction to HPC carpentry workshop is aimed at researches (students, PhD students, Postdocs, ...) who are new to HPC systems and would benefit from a quick introduction to the Linux Shell and how to log in and submit their first jobs to the HPC cluster.

We have up to 30 seats available.

Important information and requirements

  • For the coding sessions, please bring your personal laptop and a corresponding power cord
  • You should have access to the PLEIADES HPC system. Request access in advance, if you do not have an account already!
  • This course is free of cost for members of German universities or publicly-funded research institutions in Germany. Please register the course using your university/institution e-mail address.
  • The number of seats is limited and the allocation of seats is done by the organizer.
